About
Chris Vohnout
I bring over 20 years of financial and operational experience, a strong entrepreneurial background in both the private and public sectors, and expertise in pharmaceutical, biotech, services, e-commerce, software and hardware to the Vault team.
As CFO for numerous early stage and growth companies, I have been intimately involved with raising capital for various types of start-ups, expansions and growth capital financings, as well as developing business strategy, maximizing performance, and creating value while minimizing risk.
The Numbers Guru &
Operational Maven
I tackle the financial and accounting aspects of Vault Bioventures. I have been called “Navigator and Co-Pilot”– ready and willing to provide an opinion when necessary, and fight for operational efficiency while supporting alternative ideas. I love to challenge current thinking and strive for a more simplified solution. As a part of Vault’s executive team, I am also intimately involved with developing the infrastructure and growing the business. I also provide the backbone support to our team that helps us manage our client engagements efficiently.

Final Thought
Personally, I am extremely proud of my family. I am first and foremost, a father and a husband, but am also a huge dog lover and sports fanatic. My wonderful wife of 18 years and I have been heavily involved in our kids’ sports for the past 12 years coaching and volunteering, following their growth and cheering them on. We love traveling and attending sporting events as a family. One of our favorite family trips was in the fall of 2017 to Seattle where we got to, among other things, watch my beloved Seahawks play . . . including field passes from Russell Wilson!!! When I’m away from the office you will most likely find me coaching sports for area youth, at the dog park, playing golf or hanging out with my family.
