Information we collect
Vault Bioventures collects personal data in certain instances, including, but not limited to, when you contact us through any of our contact forms, register for Vault Bioventures’ newsletters and alerts, sign up for conferences and events, connect with us on social media, and/or participate in public user posting areas (such as blogs, forums, surveys, social media, etc). The personal data collected may include, but is not limited to information that you provide, such as your name, physical location, address, e-mail address, telephone number (office, home, cell, or fax number) and background information required to apply for a job.
We may also automatically collect information about the devices you use to interact with our Online Channels. The information we automatically collect may include IP address, device identifier, web browser, and browsing information collected through cookies, location based information, beacon technology, pixels or clear gifs, and other technologies (collectively “Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies”) used on Online Channels. We may also automatically collect information about how you use the Online Channels, such as what you have searched for and viewed on the Online Channels. The information automatically collected may be associated with any personal data you have provided.
Use of information
The collection of personal data may be required for the operation of the Online Channels. We may keep your personal data on file and use it to contact you. Vault Bioventure’s use of your personal data includes, but is not limited to: fulfilling your requests for information, personalizing content that you view or receive on the Online Channels, evaluating and improving your browsing experience, distributing newsletters and alerts to you, recruiting and evaluating job applicants, analyzing the Online Channels’ performance and function, publishing your comments, preventing malicious activity, complying with all applicable laws and corporate reporting obligations, enforcing Vault Bioventures’ agreements, and satisfying other requests you may have.
Our Online Channels do not collect personal data about your online activities over time and across third party websites or online services, except those Online Channels & accounts directly controlled by Vault.
Use of information collected via mobile devices
In connection with mobile applications, Vault Bioventures may use third party service providers to analyze non-personally identifiable user activity, monitor usage, market and advertise. None of these third party service providers gathers information in a manner intended to identify any particular user personally.
We do not share your viewing history or trends with other users or any external third parties (i.e., persons or entities that are not affiliates or third party service providers of Vault Bioventures).
Data recipients and international data transfers
Personal data collected on the Online Channels may be transferred across our organization, as well as to our third party service providers located throughout the world, including in countries where the local law may grant you fewer rights than you have in your own country. Additionally, the Online Channels may be viewed and hosted by Vault Bioventures and our third party service providers anywhere in the world. Where required by law, we have put in place legal mechanisms designed to ensure adequate data protection of your personal data that is processed by Vault Bioventures and third- party service providers, including the transfer of your personal data to countries other than the one in which you reside. By using any of the Online Channels and providing information on any of them, you voluntarily consent to such trans-border transfer and hosting of such information.
Vault Bioventures will not intentionally disclose or transfer (and will take reasonable steps to prevent the unauthorized or accidental disclosure of) your personal data to third parties without your consent, whether for such third parties’ own marketing purposes or otherwise, except as follows: Vault Bioventures may provide access to your personal data to third party service providers engaged by Vault Bioventures to provide services related to the Online Channels, provided that such third-party service providers will first agree to maintain the strict confidentiality of such information and provide the same level of data security as provided by Vault Bioventures.
We also may share your personal data with third party service providers who perform services and functions on our behalf to support our interactions with you, including, for example, our web development company, advertising agency, or PR company communicating with you on our behalf. These third party service providers are not permitted to use or disclose your personal data except as necessary to perform services on our behalf or to comply with legal requirements.
We may disclose or transfer your personal data in the event of a re-organization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, or other transfer or disposition of all or any portion of our business.
In addition, we may disclose information about you:

You should be aware that whenever you publicly disclose information online, that information could be collected and used by others. Vault Bioventures is not responsible for any action or policies of any third parties who collect information that users publicly disclose in any such forums on the Online Channels.
Link to third-party Online Channels
The Online Channels may allow you to sign into and associate your social network accounts including, but not limited to, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube, with Vault Bioventures. The Online Channels also may allow you to log in to a Vault Bioventures account using certain social network account credentials.
Vault Bioventures follows accepted standards of information security to protect personal data from loss, misuse, alteration, or destruction. Authorized Vault Bioventures personnel and third party service providers may be provided access to personal data. These personnel are required to treat this information as confidential. Despite any and all precautions, Vault Bioventures cannot guarantee that unauthorized persons will not obtain access to your personal data.
Data retention policy
Vault Bioventures does not intentionally collect or maintain personal data about anyone under thirteen (13) years of age.
Depending on local law, you may have the right to request access to, or request a copy of the personal data that we have collected about you. In certain circumstances, you may also request that we cease processing your personal data.

Pursuant to California Civil Code Section 1798.83(c)(2), Vault Bioventures does not share your personal data with third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing use.

What are Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies?
